After playing on the ITF professional tour, Akiko has taught at various programs throughout the northeast including Boss Tennis Center, West Side Tennis Club, and Binghamton Racquet Club. After teaching at other programs she has developed a renewed sense of appreciation for Tatsumi’s teaching methods and sharing her knowledge and experience of competing professionally.

Coach Tai has been coaching for 30+ years. Originally hailing from the island of Okinawa, he has played in many national tournaments in Japan.

After running his own successful tennis academy at Westchester Avenue Tennis Club for many years, he has returned to work with Tatsumi at Infinite Future Tennis with the opening of Edgewater Tennis Center.

Randy has been coaching with Tatsumi for 10+ years. Combined with his training in Tatsumi’s programs as a young player himself, he has 20+ years of working with the IFT teaching methods under his belt.

Aastha was a top ranked player in her home country of India, ranked #4 in juniors and #11 in women’s achieving a WTA professional ranking at the age of 16 prior to playing college tennis.
Aastha also has a Master’s in Strength and Conditioning and coached in Florida before moving to NJ to join us here at IFT. Players enjoy her detailed advice and energy.

Top 20 Junior Player in Kazakhstan

Aidana has been teaching tennis for over 10 years. In Kazakhstan, she was a top 20 junior player and also coached national junior players travelling internationally. She also has experience teaching at various clubs in the New York metro area for the last 5 years, most recently at CourtSense. Aidana’s Playing Style is that of a defensive game, focused on consistency, movement, and finding the perfect moment for counter attacking. Aidana’s Coaching Style is to be supportive and adaptable for each student. With kids, she focuses on making tennis fun through game-based activities that keep them excited to learn. For adults, she creates structured and challenging sessions that build technical skills, tactical awareness and confidence on the court.

David is a USPTA certified professional with 10 years of coaching experience at Maywood Tennis Club. Dave also has experience as a player having played college tennis. Dave works with a wide range of players from beginners to advanced players and makes sure all players play with a good technical foundation. David grew up watching Roger Federer, so Dave’s Playing Style is versatile. As an all court player, Dave’s adaptability is key. Over the years, David has worked with players of all ages and skill levels. From beginners picking up a racquet for the first time to advanced competitors sharpening their edge, Dave’s Coaching Philosophy is to tailor each lesson to fit the player’s goals and unique style. His approach blends technical instruction with strategy, fitness, and building confidence. He emphasizes courage to try new things, commitment to steady improvement, and the connection that makes tennis both fun and rewarding.

Dhruv is one of the most accomplished players on the Infinite Future Tennis team. As the former #1 ranked junior in India he earned 13 ITF junior titles and was ranked as high as #110 in the world. On the ATP tour, he was ranked both in Singles and Doubles, and was a top 15 player in Men’s tennis in India. As a coaching professional, Coach Dhruv has 3+ years of experience as an Assistant Coach for an NCAA Div. I Men’s & Women’s Tennis Team and at a tennis club in Mississippi prior to joining us at IFT. He specializes in High Performance junior program coordination and the fitness program at IFT.

Kiran comes to IFT with a background in Supply Chain Management, having managed organization as an Assistant Coach to a D1 college team and other tennis clubs in the past.

Kiran is also an accomplished player having been a Scholar-Athlete, achieving a highest UTR of 10+ in both Singles & Doubles. He has also volunteered coaching elementary school kids while attending University.

NCAA D3 player #1 Doubles and #2 Singles

Roger has over 10 years of coaching experience, starting from Hershey Racquet Club in Hershey, PA and his most recent teaching position prior to IFT at the Billie Jean King National Tennis Center in Queens, NY. As a tennis player himself, he played at Lebanon Valley College (NCAA Div. III) in the #1 doubles position and the #2 singles position and was named Team MVP in his senior year. Roger’s play style is an all-court style with aggressive footwork. Roger’s Coaching Philosophy is to hold a curiosity and passion for the game and to strategize for each player’s unique needs.

Rohan is a PTR certified professional. His previous positions were in Cincinnati at the Riverside Athletic Club and the Camargo Country Club, in Chicago at Midtown Athletic Club, and most recently in Queens, NY at the Billie Jean King National Tennis Center. Rohan was part of a three-time state championship team in high school and later reached USTA Club Nationals in college. Rohan’s Playing Style is an aggressive all-courter — he likes to dictate points at the net, rely on stamina and consistency, and mentally wear down opponents. Rohan’s Coaching Style focuses on player development, helping athletes reach beyond what they think is possible through structured, motivating, and technically sound lessons.

Yukiko met Tatsumi on the tennis court 35 years ago and has since been by his side as wife and assistant coach. She is an accomplished doubles player, a World Team Tennis national finalist for many years in a row, and holds vast knowledge of the game. She has specialized in teaching the 10 and under age group and has helped countless kids build strong technical fundamentals and a strong work ethic.

Miriam has extensive experience as a front desk receptionist within the healthcare and hotel industries, and is also a licensed real estate agent in New jersey.

She has been surrounded by Tatsumi’s tennis philosophy for 20+ years as three of her children trained closely with him and his team.

Miriam is dedicated to the game and enjoys watching the tremendous progress of Tatsumi’s students. Since her children have graduated the academy, Miriam continues to support the team at our front desk.

Born in New York and raised in Tenafly, New Jersey, Shoko played competitively for years as a junior player, and went on to be recruited for the Columbia University tennis team. Since graduating from university her career at Bain & Company has taken her all over the world, working in both the Tokyo and London offices.

Shoko now supports Infinite Future Tennis where she can from across the pond in London. She hopes to help the team spread the love of the game and the teaching methods in technique and dedication that formed the foundation for her success both on and off the court.
