  1. About UTR

    UTR is a global player rating system. All players regardless of age, gender, geography or skill level, are rated on the same scale from 1.00 and 16.50 based on daily match results. Every tennis player can have a UTR to know their level and find fun, competitive play wherever they are. Once a player has played a number of UTR Verified matches against other verified players, they will receive a Verified UTR Rating. Read more here.

  2. UTR at IFT

    All UTR events at IFT will be verified. A number of UTR matches are included in lesson fees for players in our group lessons playing at the following levels: Elite Green, Pre-Tournament 1 & 2, Tournament, Young Elite, and High Performance.
    We also organize Orange and Green ball UTR events for our young competition players to get verified match experience.
    By incorporating UTR matches as part of the junior program, this enables our coaches to review and analyze elements of a player’s game to support further growth in a match situation.

  3. Detailed match information

    Player matchups and times will be determined by 12PM on Friday prior to the event date. You can sign into your account and view the event page to see your matchup and scheduled time.
    Match format will be 1 matchup of 2 sets up to 6 games (12-point tiebreak at 6-6) with a match tiebreak at 1-set all with no-Ad scoring. (YELLOW BALL)
    Roving officials will be present.

     

  1. Make a UTR account

    Make a UTR account for your player if they don’t have one already. You can make a free subscription, or if you plan on playing more matches at locations outside of IFT you can create a Power Subscription to get $12 off on events.

  2. Find the event and register

    Visit our club page ‘Infinite Future @ Edgewater’ or use the search bar at the top of the page. You can request to become a member of our club if you aren’t already. Choose the event page of the date that you can attend and click on ‘Register’.

    The registration deadlines are on Thursdays at 8PM on the day before the event. Once you register you are committed to the date and no changes can be made. A credit card payment of the event cost ($45 for Power subscribers, $57 for free subscribers) is required to register.

  3. IFT academy players – wait for your refund

    *If you are registered in the relevant level groups where UTR is included in your lesson fees, you have already paid your UTR event for an included number of dates. We will fully refund you for those events via UTR.

  1. Location & general

    Events are usually at Edgewater Tennis Center on Saturday evenings with a 5PM / 6:10PM / 7PM start times.

  2. Schedule

    Schedules are weekly on Saturdays during the Fall, Winter, and Spring sessions.

    Select Saturdays will also have Orange and Green ball events. For Fall 2025 the dates are 10/11, 11/8, and 12/13
