  1. New students

Evaluation is required for placement into non-beginner junior programs. Beginner program levels are as listed to the right.

Please reach out to book an evaluation through contact@if.tennis noting the players name, date of birth, and playing experience.

  2. Level group promotions and and progression

Players are evaluated throughout each session to ensure they are placed with the group best fit for their progression. Keep in mind that players progress at their individual place, and placement and progression may depend not only on skill level but also physical size, strength, and behavioral maturity and fit with a specific group.

See our Junior Group Progression Chart for information on level groups and progression

  3. Competition and IFT Academy groups

IFT requires a minimum 2x group lessons a week for the following level groups: Competition Orange, Competition Green, Elite Green, Pre-Tournament 1, Pre-Tournament 2, Young Elite, Tournament, and High Performance. Combined with a program of fitness, access to UTR matches, and Sunday ‘Team’ practice, the IFT team strives to provide players who are ready to commit a full program for continued development.

Players must maintain a minimum UTR of 4+ for High Performance groups and also have Director’s approval. Any other students will be assigned to their appropriate level groups.

Junior Matchplay preparation

IFT prepares players in an all-around game. While our lessons focus on technique, we provide ample opportunity for players to be match-ready.
Playdays

For players beginning to learn the rules of the game (Level 2) we provide ‘Playdays’ to offer match guidance and opportunities.

  • Our Playdays are coach-led sessions that enable players to learn more about playing matches

  • These sessions cover important elements of real-life match play that are often lost in conventional lesson time: keeping score, making calls, practicing serves / returns, and game strategy
  • Included in lesson fees for the following level groups ONLY: Orange 2, Green 2, Yellow 2

  • Schedules are 2 or 3 times in a session on Saturdays, 5PM or 6:30PM. Please see the session schedule to find dates for a specific session – registration via CourtReserve booking portal or emailing contact@infinitefuturetennis.com

UTR Matchplay

For more advanced players ready to play in official competition, we organize weekly UTR matches. This provides an opportunity for all of our players to have match experience in a globally verified player rating system.

  • UTR Matchplay is a scheduled matchup for players to play in a officially verified match situation with roving umpires
  • For competitive Orange and Green ball players, some UTR match days each session will also be organized for Orange and Green ball matches
